A ''BROWN OWL" PARTY
A most, delightful party was held on Saturday evening at the Brown Owl, Akatarawa, in honour of Miss Pat Tanner.
The ballroom, decorated with spring flowers and made pleasantly warm by a large, bright fire, looked very gay and attractive. Streamers and carnival hats added to the fun of the party.
Mrs. C. B. Chapman, Miss Tanner's sister, acted •as hostess and received her guests wearing a frock of almond green floral georgette. Miss Tanner's frock was of salmon lace with organdie flowers
Among those present wore Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Chapman, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Sneddon, Mr. .and Mrs. R. Wright; Misses D. Caradus, N. and M. Murrel, M. Payne, E. Sneddon, W. Tait, V.
