NEW GOLF PROFESSIONAL
(Special to the "Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., This Day. A. E. Ekstedt, the well-known Mana : watu golfer, has turned professional. Acknowledged as one of the best wooden-club players in New Zealand and a master of all his irons, it will not be for lack of ability if he does not do well in his new career. A. D. S. Duncan, T. H. Horton, and J. P; Hornabrook were visitors at Hokowhitu yesterday, taking part in a fourball match with Ekstedt as fourth. In the first game Horton and Ekstedt were partnered and won 3 and 1. The afternoon match finished square, Duncan and Hornabrook showing an improvement
