NON-PARTY POLITICS

(To the Editor.) Sir, —May I through your columns be allowed to ask after the New Zealand Legion? I was a very interested watcher of its doings, and was glad to see that after a few knock-backs it came out of the local bodies' election fray with credit. If I remember the old Legion rightly, I think it. proposed having Parliamentary candidates, but none have yet been announced. It will not be long now until the election, and if non-party workers wish to have a, chance they will have, to come out of their trance. I hope the Legion will now show it can do something definite in the way of attempting to abolish party politics.—l am, etc., NON-PARTY.
