FEILDING MARKET

PRICES FOR LAMBS EASIER

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

FEILDING, June 7. Prices for fat lambs were slightly easier owing to the quality generally not being up to the standard of last week, but a few pens of very prime heavy woolled lambs overtopped last week's prices. Exporters are still buying lambs and paying slightly higher than schedule rates. A very good sale resulted for fat ewes and wethers, local butchers competing and sending prices appreciably higher. There was a fair yarding of store sheep, which found'the market for breeding ewes still fair, with good sales for clean, well-conditioned ewes.
