ALLEGED CONSPIRACY

MELBOURNE, This Day.
Allegations were made in the City Court today that Henry Stokes (aged 53) and John Mulligan (41) had conspired to rob the Commonwealth Bank at Ballarat of between £60,000 and £100,000 and that they attempted to bribe two constables with an offer of £10,000 each from the proceeds. Both accused were remanded.
