CAPT. HAMANO OF THE ASAMA

SUVA, This Day.
Paymaster-Captain; H. Hamano, of the Japanese cruiser Asama, which recently visited New Zealand, died suddenly of ( cerebral hemorrhage. He was cremated this morning.
Paymaster-Captain Hamano was a member of Rear-Admiral Nakamura's staff. He previously visited Wellington as a paymaster-lieutenant-com-mander in the Yakumo in 1928.
