A FORCED LANDING

PILOT INJURED

MASTERTON, This Day.

At about 9.30 a.m.. today a privatelyowned aeroplane belonging to Mr. Phil Wilton made a forced landing on the property of Mr. Len Daniell at Akura. The machine nose-dived, the propeller being smashed, and Mr. Wilton suffered a broken nose and injuries to his face. He was taken to a private hospital, where he is progressing favourably.
