THIRTY MILES OF SEATS !
So vast is the Olympic Stadium, now under construction at the Reich Sport Field, Berlin, for the Olympic Games of 1936, that the seating accommodation for spectators, if placed in a straight line, would extend for; thirty miles. Thus, when the stadium is finished, anybody who has to run the length of the seats—say, to seek for something that has been lost—would be well advised first to go into training with an experienced marathon runner.
To give the Reich Sport Field a parklike appearance the trees which have to be removed to make room for playing fields are 'being removed 1o other sites where they will present pleasant shade and offer no obstruction.; In this way 800 trees, roots and all, have been dug up and carted elsewhere.
