SHETLAND SOCIETY
At the annual meeting of the Wellington Shetland Society the following officers and committee were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Mr. J. R. Jeromson; president, Mr. L. Laurenson; vice-president, Mr. J. C. Ramsay; treasurer, Mr. R. Stewart; secretary, Mr. W. R. Anderson; committee* Mesdames J. Moncrieff, J. Laurenson, H. Scott, W. R. Anderson, Messrs. T. Moncrieff, W. R. Anderson, and J. Sinclair. •
The balance-sheet was read, and adopted. Mr. J. G. Harper, retiring president, said the society had had a very successful year, both socially and ; financially, and he hoped that members and friends would rally round their new president and officers, and give them their whole-hearted support.
