WOMEN'S HOCKEY
TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA
The selection committee of.the New Zealand Women's Hockey Association has chosen the following players for the Australian tour:— Goal: Mrs. O'Connor (Eastern South-Full-backs: Misses G. Mortimer (Canterbury), W. Woolley (Marlborough), A. McDonald (Eastern Southland). Half-backs: Misses A. Mackie (Otago), M. Gudsell (Canterbury), E. Hansen (Ruahine), M. Sanson (Eastern Southland). Forwards: Mrs. H. Reid (Eastern Southland), Mrs. J. Donald (Wellington), Misses M. McKenzie (Canterbury), OE. Savile (Central Otago), I. Berry (Akitio), I. Dahlberg (Ruahine), M. Cotter (Auckland). Mrs. H. Reid has been appointed captain and Miss A. Mackie vice-captain, and as a selection committee the manager, Mrs. H. J. Poulter (Wellington), and the vice-captain.
