LECTURE ON WAR HORRORS.
♦ Attention is drawn to an advertisement in this issue regarding a lecture to be delivered by Mr. 8... Semple, M.P., in the Kilbirnie Kinema, tomorrow evening on "The Horrors of Modern War." The lecture will be illustrated with lantern slides, and is topical in view of the huge expenditure on armaments now going on. A silver coin collection will be made in aid of the Kilbirnie and Lyall Bay Library Fund.
