• "FEILDINGrMay 10. V Prices for fat. lahibs hardened 2s a headfwith a firm sale for ewes and wethers at Feilding today: Exporting firms' buyers operated briskly, making !a very satisfactory sale. The yarding was of good quality, and merited higher- rates. The sjore .sheep market showed a good demand for good quality " e'wes'^ in lamb; especially young .en-esi-.tchieh. are still wanted. Hoggets were somewhat .uncerr tain though good-conditioned' sold well. The market for store cattle .was not encouraging, but there was a good market for. fat cattle, best ox. beef making up,to 20s, and cow to 15s per, 1001b."
