A DUCAL PRISONER

LONDON, May 10.
Warders took the Duke of Manchester, who is under sentence for false pretences, in a taxicab to Wormwood Scrubs Prison, where the usual routine was carried out. An inventory was made of his belongings, which were then placed in a •parcel. He underwent the usual medical examination, had a bath, was handed a mug, Prayer Book, and Bible, and then locked in a cell.
