LOST IN FOG
R.A.A.F. PLANE CRASHES
YOUNG PILOT KILLED

MELBOURNE, This Day.
While lost in a fog over Mount Egerton, near Ballarat, a- Royal Australian Air Force "Wapiti" aeroplane, piloted by Air Cadet Lindsay Murray, 10, crashed an,d was smashed to matchwood. Cadet Murray died shortly afterwards.
It is believed that the machine got out of control and dived into the trees.
