JUMPERS BACK IN WORK
I'unohestowa and Houualow have been started on useful work again by their trainer, T. H^ Gillett, says a Riccartoa report. The fpriner is now ten years old and the latter-nine years, but if they remain sound ,'they, should still be capable of paying their way. ■ Punchestown is at present doing ;on!y very easy tasks, but he should be ready soon to move along fast. If he trains on he should.be a useful steeplechaser. Probably he will-have a -few races in - thej South Island before the Grand National Meeting. Hounslow is^ unlikely to under-1 take a northern trip thi3 winter, as, nq did last, but will be kept to racing, nearer;1 home, with the: Grand National- -Meeting as his main objective. It is hoped to .give him some/ schooling -overr country inter on, as it is intended to try him out seriously as a steeplechaser.'.
