CANBERRA, This Day.

Tho Federal Minister of Defence, Mr. R. A. Parkhill, said that additional night-lighting facilities had been completed to permit the night flying that was necessary on the main route from Darwin to Cootamundra to ensure adherence to the present air-mail timetable during the winter months. Night landing facilities had been provided at Darwin, Cloncurry, Longreach, and Cootamundra, and four revolving beacons had been installed along the roitte between Cloncurry and Longreach.
