King s Old Boys, 213 and 96, beat outright Eden, 143 (Mills 41, Andrews six for 72, S. &. Smith three for 46) and 08 (Smith five for 33, Andrews four for 34). University, 318, beat V.M.C.A., 180 (M. Lyon 55, Hook 39, Garrard eight for 65) and 54 for one. ■
Christchurch.—Cricket matches were played 011 Saturday in dull weather, but on hard and <hy grounds. Riccarton, playing West Christdhurch, scored 410 for six wickets (Jacobs 78, Roberts Wi, Hooper 52, Powell 70, Dunuet not out 59). St. Albans, 325 (Crawford 57, Armstrong 89, Cummings 60), played High School Old Boys, 21 for no wickets. East Christchurch, 198 (Coupland 44, Mortlock. not out 60, Read five for 63). played Lancaster Park, no wickets for 16.
