BILLIARDS
The final of the Wellington City and Suburban Billiaid and Snooker League tournament was conducted in the various districts last night, St. Geoige defeating Miramar, and Victory defeating City, other teams having a bye. With all games played tho championship points result: St. George 27, Queen s 22 Paramount 19, Miramar 18, Victory and City 12," Island Bay 4. The presentation to the St. George team of the Billiards Limited Cup and the individual trophies to the team members will probably take place next week. The St. George were the only undefeated team in tho competition. On Wednesday night next at the Paramount room, a snooker match will take place between N. Squire, New Zealand junior professional champion, and L. Stout, ex-New. Zealand amateur champion, the win to be decided on highest aggregate points in 6even games.
