RICHARDS—HORSLEY.

A pieturcsquo night wedding was solemnised at Holy Trinity Church, Devonport, Auckland, recently, when Louisa Jean, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Horsley, of Devonport, was married to Jolni Norman Richards, IT.M.S. Dunedin, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Richards, Oriental Bay, Wellington. The officiating minister was tho Rev. Mr. Robson, naval chaplain, who was assisted by the Rev. Mr. Salmon, vicar of the parish. The church,.which was crowded with friends of both bride and bridegroom, had been beautifully decorated with spring flowers.

The bride, who entered the church with her father, was gowned in ivory satin boaute. The frock, which was slimly moulded to the figure, had a high neckline and panelled skirt. Gracefullydraped cowl sleeves added finish to the bodice, and the skirt flared out into a fan-shaped train. She wore a halo coronet of orange blossom and pearls, the tulle veil forming a train. Her flowers were a sheaf of white arum lilies. There were two bridesmaids, two little flower girls, and a train-bearer. The bridesmaids were Miss Molly Richards, of AVellington (sister of the bridegroom), and Miss Thclma Hart. They wore gowns of cornflower blue matelasso and gold lame. The frocks were cut on slim lines and had cowl sleeves, the boat-shaped neckline being defined by a wide upstanding collar of gold lame. They wore little tricorno hats of lame and blue matelasse, and carried sheaves of daffodils.
