AUSTRALIAN EGG EXPORTS.
According to information supplied by the Department of Commerce exports, of eggs from Australia this season already exceed 2,000,000 dozen! • This figure is 311,000 dozen above the quantity sent overseas in the corresponding period of 1933.
American exchanges announce that the latest contract to supply beef to United States Army units stationed in the Philippine Islands has been awarded to the Tourea Packing Company, of Phoenix, Arizona. The greater part of this contract has in past years been supplied from Australia. The order secured by the Tourea Company will absorb the product of some 3300 bullocks.
