SHOE IMPORT TRADE.
The iiiuction of the New Zealand tariff on boots and shoes from 25 to 15 per cent, states the Northampton correspondent of "The Times" Trade Supplement, has come at an opportune moment. News of the decision coincided with the arrival of New Zealand buyers at Northampton, and the good business done included the opening of some new accounts. Footwear exported to New Zealand must be stamped "all leather."
