Considerable surprise is being expressed at the non-inclusion of th© All' Black D. Max, of Nelson, in. the Seddon Shield team to meet Marlborough on Saturday. The selector, Mr. E. Snow, says that the present pack which, is on tour in the south has worked together so well that it is unwise to break tho existing combination. , •
