The club fourball bogey played on Saturday at Wahvetu resulted in a tie between G. II at field (11) and G. E. Millward (14) and N. J. Sherwood (9) and ,T. 15. Wallace (•'), both 7 up. J. Garbett and L. "Mitchell were 5 up, Hogg and, Wil-
son, Stace and Buddie^ Johnston1 and Barton, all 3 up. Points for the Hatfield Trophy were: G. R. Millward and J. B. Wallace, 1 up (3), and 11. G. Moore, 1 down, 1 point. The second bogey resulted in a ivin for W. Gregory (15), 1 up, next being G. IP. Hogg (5), all square, J. Colyquhoun (IS), R. G. Holland (5), N. 0. Maitland (S), W. I)1. Gilt (12), and W. T. Wilson (8), all 1 down. Points for tlio Winter Cup wore: Gregory 3, G. V. Hogg 2, and the above other four leach. Ten four-man teams entered for the teams match, which was won by Gregory. Lindop, Nicholls, and R. Hunter, net total 256. The second team was G. Hatfield. Wilson, Hogan, and Marsden, 296. ' In- the semi-finnls of the senior championships over 36 holes, G. Hogg beat L Marsden, 8 and 0, and R. G. Holland beat A. Clelland, 0 and 5. A good eocre by Ho™" of 78 left him with a commanding lead of 7 up at the eighteenth, and this was too much for Marsden to catch, although his play improved over the last IS holes. In the other match between Holland and Clelland the former went m to lunch with a lead o£ i up. In the semi-final of the intermediate championship, G. R. Mill-ward beat V. R. Stacc, 1 up, and H. Keene beat D. Johnston, 3 and 2. . . , In the third round of the junior championship, Nicholls beat Burns, 2 up, and H.
