(By Tclecraph —I'ress Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 1. The South Island amateur, fitty-mile cycling championship was won by A. Selmlz (handicap 17min), in 2 hours 1/ minutes 50 seconds. A. A. Randell (U mini -2hrs lOmin lGsee was second, antl S I Grimwood (17min), 2hr 20min 12sec, third. The fastest time was registered by R. B. Blakeway (scr), 2hrs 4mm 20 sec.
