MIDLAND CLUB

The annual meeting of the Midland Cricket Club was largely attended, Mr. H. Hatch being in the chair. The report on the past season's activities, a precis of which has been published in "The Post, was adopted. Keen appreciation of the services rendered to-the club by Messrs. W. A. Baker and J. B. Watson was expressed, and both were unanimously elected life members of the club. The Walker Cup, for the most useful player, was presented to W. A. Baker, and the Winder Cup, for the most improved player, was presented to D. Law. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr. R. A. Wright, M.P.; president, Mr. H.
