NGATAKI SAILS
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 2. With the Boyal New Zealand Yacht Squadron's . burgee at- the masthead, and the Red Ensign flying from the gaff end, the yacht Ngataki, with Mr. John Wray and a crew "of three Auckland yachtsmen, left : for Tahiti yesterday afternoon. Three hearty cheers were given as tho yacht moved away from tho wharf with the engine going. Once clear of tho wharf tho ■mainsaU and staysail were hoisted, and tho yacht made good time down the harbour on the first paTt of her long cruise. _ Her owner expressed his intention to bo back iii time to compete in tho race to Melbourne starting on December 8.
