CAR LEAVES ROAD
FOUR PEOPLE INJURED
As the result of a motor-car leaving the Main Road, Day's Bay, near the junction of Ferry Koad, at 10.15 o'clock last evening, four persons were admitted to the hospital with injuries. In one case the injuries were fairly serious. ' r ' The injured persons, who were taken to •hospital by the Free Ambulance, were Mr. E. Reynolds, an engineer on the Holmglen; severe cuts on the top lip, concussion, injuries to the head, aud injuries to both arms, which were paralysed; Mr. W. McGregor, .or 9 Kensingtoii Street, Wellington, motor mechanic, injuries to the right arm; Miss A. Anderson, tailoress,, 72 Waripori Street, facial injuries; Miss P. Bradley, a shop assistant, who lives at the Columbia Hotel, scalp wounds and shock. All except Mr. Reynolds were later able to return to their i homes. The hospital authorities reported a slight improvement in Mr.. Reynolds's condition today.
