AMATEUR BOXING TITLES.
■ Wellington's amateur boxers will be given the. opportunity, on. Monday and iuesday nights of qualifying for a trip to Hastings, with the possibility of a: further journey to Invefcargill, the attractions offering to those Who secure provincial representative honours' 'this season' being exceptionally good. With that incentive added to the natural desire to carry oft one of the local titles, there should be some keen battling in the senior championship contests in the ring at the Town Hall, and those who like clean and skilful ooxing, with every minute full of action, are bound to be well satisfied. Record entries have been received this year, and everything-poirits to an unusually successful tournament. An advertisement appears in this issue.
