A LAMB FOR LARWOOD
AUSTRALIAN TRIBUTE
SYDNEY, August 28. ; According to Press reports,; Larwood is to receive a Christmas gift of a lamb.
An anonymous correspondent to the "Sydney Morning Herald" encloses a cheque for 25s to pay for the gift. Ho claims that, as a follow-cricketer and one of Larwood's multitudinous Australian admirers, ho feels there is real need for a better understanding among cricketers here and in England and a greater recognition of the generosity with which Australia is served in British markets.
