A notable arrival from Homely tho Bangitata today was Sir John SeymourLloyd, K.8.E., C.M.G., K.C., who i» making a brief visit to the Dominion. He is on a holiday trip and has notj previously been to New Zealand, la addition to his distinguished services at the Bar, Sir John played an;active administrative part during the. Great War, and was Director-General of Kecruiting in 1917 and 1918 with the rank o£ lieutenant-colonel. He is well known in England for his lectures and articles on social and political problems..
