NEWTOWN ATHLETIC CLUB
The first annual meeting of the Newtown Athletic Club was held in the club gymnasium recently. Mr. G. A. Broad was in the chair. The balance-sheet showed a substantial credit.
The* following -officer*, were elected:— Patron, Mr. D. G. McGowan; president, Mr. T. P. Bourke; vice-presidents, Messrs. E. C. Mageei G. A. Broad, W. A. Thomson, and Woolley; lion, secretary, Mr. L. Watson; lion, treasurer, Mr. H. Wahlers; lion, auditor, Mr. E. V. Paul; management committee, Messrs. P. Connors, M. Ellis, J. Kelly (2), R. Budge, G. Clements, A. McDougall, R. Hudson, E. Gunn, J. McKenzie, S. Lyons, M. Murphy, J. Weokley, and 11. Larson.
