SLIPS IN TAITA GORGE
A number of slips, mostly small, and consisting in some places of boulders, occurred in th'o Taita Gorge on Saturday. One slip blocked the 10.45 p.m. bus from Wellington to Upper Ilutt from getting through and intending passengers were warned to take a later train. No other bus was held up, and tho road was cleared for normal traffic yesterday.
