BILLIARDS
A fine exhibition of billiards -was given at tho Paramount Billiard Room by Regan (Federal • Club) and Peterson '■ (Working Men's Club). Regan played very consistently and, scoring freely, won by a comfortable margin,: his potting gaining for him many useful positions. Peterson, who. has lately been playing high-clas« billiards, did not show his .usual form, but nevertheless put up a good showing, featuring numerous difficult screw shots, The best breaks were: By Regan, 27, 35, 39, 20. 36, 39. 27, 48. 22." 45. 25; by Peterson 31.
