AUCKLAND, August 10.
Winooka passed through Auckland, on the Monterey on his way back to Sydney under the control of, his trainer, M. Poison. During his first season in America Winooka won four races, but he had many difficulties to overcouie, and some of hie efforts, were disappointing. His* second season was not product^ of any bettor luck for him than his first, and he had only had two races, being narrowly beateii by Ebony Lady in the Antipodes Purse over six furlongs at Churchill Down, Kentucky, on May 16, and running next to last in a field of nine iv the Washington Park Handicap on the Homewood course on May 21.
