MEETING AT KELBURN

In an inspiring and beautiful address to the'Kelbum League of Mothers this week Mrs. Ashburn Chisholm, who spoko on the "Significance of the League's Aims,' 3 pictured jthe league movement locally, provincially, nationally, and overseas as '' one great loving mother holding out hor arms to draw all mothers and their children to her embrace that sho might help and irispire them.,iix their common tasks to the glorious achievement of making wonderful homos, which will be the envirottmont of tho finest generation .that has yet lived.'/ ... .;..-. . ■~- .;

Wonianhooa, wifehood, motherhood, ana grandmotherhood, all had., their place in the league, and the speaker gave some beautiful verses to illustrate these: "Woman" (Hal] Came), "To My Wife" (B. L. Stevenson), "Mother o' Mine" (Kudyard Kipling), and ''Growing 01<f" (Bak^r). Mrs. Ohisholni finished with a beautiful prayer for the leaguo, composed by herself, which made a fitting close to a fine and highminded appeal. i " , . x .- A voto of thanks was enthusiastically carried.
