In the singles of the bowling sec-1 tion at the Empire Games, Keys (New Zealand) lost to England's representative 8-21, and lost to Sprot (Scotland) 13-21. Sprot won the championship, being unbeaten throughout the games. Hills and Wright (England) retained the pairs title, "As in 1930, they were unbeaten.
