DENIED BY WR. MACDONALD
SYDNEY (Nova Scotia), 'Aug. 8.
Before sailing for Newfoundland to» day on H.M.S. Dragon, the Prime Minister of Britain, Mr. 'Eamsay Mac; Donald, emphatically denied rumonrs from London that some Ministers of the National Government were contemplating withdrawal. A suggestion that it might be his intention to advise his Majesty to: dissolve Parliament prior to any declaration of war was ridiculed by Mr. Mac Donald.
