JUBBULPORE GIANT
NATURE OF SKELETON
BELIEVED TO BE APE, NOT MAN
CALCUTTA, August 9.
The skeleton, believed at first to be that of a human giant, 31$ feet long, with legs 10ft long, found in the Jubbulpore district is now thought to be that of1 a prehistoric giant ape. The skeleton has been placed in.the palace of. Chief Ramgarh pendipg examination by geologists, who regbrd it as .enormously interesting. The .Jubbulpore district is renowned for its wealth of fossilised relics. ,■■■■",
