WAIKATO DEFEATS NORTH AUCKLAND

HAMILTON, August 9. ; In a good exhibition of Rugby, played on a heavy ground, Waikato defeated North Auckland by 22 points to 7. Both packs played good football, North Auckland's weakness being* centred in the half-back, who failed to open up the game. Waikato scorers were Storey, Oliver (2), and Allen, while, Davies, Allen, and Aitken kicked sucessfuliy. Campbell scored for North Auckland and Kcrr kicked a field goal. ■
