Tho steamer Maiwora is proceeding to the Slontoro's assistance, but is not .expected to reach the stranded vessel bef oro tomorrow. Other ships havo been advised, and it is possible assistance may reach the Montoro today. Although the ship is holed, the pumps are .working continuously and to a large extent are able to cope with the inrush of water. ■ ,
