FRANKLIN'S POPULARITY
Pleasure with the popularity oC tin; Franklin Racing Club was expressed by the president (Mr. Dynes Fulton) at the annual meeting of the club at Pukekohe on Monday. . Mr. Fulton said the success of Ihe race meeting held by the club on Monday, July 23, which had to ba postponed from Saturday. July 21, owing to wet weather. was evidence of the widespread, nature, of the patronage that was now accorded the club. -During the coming year the committee' anticipated providing further appointments at the course to bring the accommodation more iv line with that provided by larger clubs.
