DUNEDIN, August 8.

Tho Dunedin section of the New Zealand Post aad Telegraph Employees' Association carried tho following resolution:—

" That iv view of tho pronouneeu improvement in tho Dominion's financial position and tho restoration of salary cuts by private firms and public bodies, tho members of this section aro unanimously of tho opinion that tho timo has now arrived for the Government to recognise in a tangible manner the ]oyal and efficient service rendered by those servants of tho State who arc admittedly underpaid.''
