LOCKED IN CHURCH
A Belfast visitor to Blackpool, Lancashire, was recently locked in St. John's Church for three hours. While waiting for a ■ telegram to arrive she went into the church to rest, and when she wanted to leave she found the doors locked. She shouted and banged on the door, and, though she could see crowds passing, nobody responded. She climbed to a window and called for help in vain. Eventually she banged on the doors again and attracted the attention of a girl, who informed tho polico and the vergev.
