The monthly meeting of the board of managers of the Petone Memorial Technical College was held last evening. The resignation of Miss E. R. Evison from the position of instructor to the evening shorthand class was accepted, rind Miss A. E. Anderson was appointed 'to the position. The painting of certain rooms during the term holidays was approved.
The board was advised that an extra grant of £250 per year for incidental expenses had been made.
Toys and cradles are provided free in the nursery established in the church hall attached to a Croydon Methodist Church, so that the mothers can attend the services.
