Edward Lloyd, Ltd., England, producers of newsprint paper, have recently commenced building an extension to their Kemsley mill, Kent, for accommodation of a- new machine for newsprint. It is claimed that this machine will be the largest in the world for production of this class of paper. It will have a wire width of 320 inches to run at 1400 feet a minute and will be capable of a production of 1000 tons of paper per week.
