OSLO, August 6. Bon Eastman ran 500 metres in C 2 seconds, beatingi Tavernari's record. Percy Beard, tho Olympic competitor, ran 110 metres in 14 1-5 seconds, beating his own record.
The American relay team, Peacock, Kane, Harding, and Eastman, won the 1000 metres relay in lmin 53 3-10 sec, beating tho world record of lmin 56 4-osec. Peacock, running tho first leg, covered 100 in 10 3-10 sec, equalling Percy Williams's and Tolan's record.
