The Canterbury Jockey Club has decided to increase the stake-money for the next New Zealand Cup from £1000 to £1275, to be allocated as follows:—First horse- to receive £900 and a cup valued at £75; second horee £200; third, £100. No alterations were made in the conditions of tlie race.
