BYLAW OFFENCES
Otl'enders against the motoring bylaws were dealt with by Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.AL, in the Magistrate's Court yesterday. On charges of negligent driving, Jean 0. Steele was fined £1 and Edward Hughes 10s. For driving against a light signal, Leonard F. Wallis was fined 10s. Failure to give way .to traffic on the right cost Herbert V. Whiteman £1 and Lala Parsotam 10s.
John L. Warren was fined 10s and Charles E. Johnson 5s for having insuflicicnt lighting on vehicles. Thomas B. Arbuthnott was fined £1 for dangerous driving, and on a charge of failing to stop after a collision ho was convicted and ordered to pay costs. Lalhi Daji was ordered to pay the costs for cutting a corner. For insecurely parking a motor-car on a grade. Samuel Barker was fined 10s. Carl W. Dowling was lined I.os for having no driver's licence.
