FERGUSON—CATHEEWOOD. Tho Khandallak Presbyterian Chureli was most effectively decorated for the marriage of Winifred Stevonson, eldest daughter of tho Bey. B. H. and Mrs. Cathenvood, Wauganui, and formerly of Carterton, to tho Bey. Arthur McNair Ferguson, M.A., eldest son of Mr. A. Ferguson, Lower Hutt. Tho Eight Eov. D. B. Scott, Moderator of tho Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, uncle of tho bride, performed the eoromony. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a graceful frock of ivory ring velvet cut on long simple lines, and a beautifully embroidered veil, lent for tho occasion by Mrs. B. C. Griffiths (Auckland). She carried a sheaf of roses, freesias, and carnations. Mis^-Muriel Oathcrwood, who attended' tho brido, woro. coral pink matelasse and carried a sheaf of carnations and roses.' ■ The Bey. Harold Scott, M.A., of. Takapau, was best man, and the ushers woro the Bey. Balph Byers, M.A., of Timaru, and Mr. C. Henderson, Homewood, Marton. Mrs. Catherwood, wearing a navy woollen ensemble, received tho guests at the homo of the Bight Bey. and Mrs. Scott, Khandallah, whero spring blooms from tho garden of Mrs. O. Lethbridge), Annbank, Turakina, were arranged in tho drawing-room, library, and dining-room.
