FIBRE BOARD BOXES
(Special to the " Evening Post.") NELSON, August 6. The annual report of the Neleou Fruit Advisory Committee covers a wide range of matters in which- the committee has interested itself, including problems incidental to production, handling fruit for export, marketing, and research. "Fibre board boxes havo been used experimentally on the local markets with successful results, particularly in regard to bruising, and members of the committee have been co favourably impressed, that a recommendation has been forwarded i to the Fruit Control Board to the effect j that an experimental export shipment should be carried out during the 1935 season," states the report. Progress had been made with Dominion, Mark sales and the committee is of opin-1 ion that some definite move should be! made immediately to improve the stand- j ard of fruit and distribution throughout ■ the Dominion.
